Hi, I’m Addie! I created Round Rock Moms to serve as a resource for families in our community. I have written for several local websites/blogs over the past 8 years, including Free Fun In Austin, Round the Rock, and Austin Active Kids. I started both Austin Fun For Kids (https://austinfunforkids.com/) and Round Rock Moms this past year and hope that my experience with local adventures and love for fun will help other moms who are new to the area or new to having kids. When I’m not writing, I’m usually out hiking or adventuring with my husband and 3 boys.
Hi I’m Audra! Born and raised in Oklahoma and moved to Texas as fast as I could! After living in all the major Texas metros, our family is happy to consider Round Rock our home. My husband, Jeremy, and I have three sons and have been in the Austin area for 10+ years. We love exploring all there is to see and do here! Some of our favorites include checking out new hot spots, dining anywhere with a patio, and doing ALL the outside activities.
Hi I’m Meredith! I was born and raised in the Austin area. I attended elementary, middle, and high school in Round Rock and when it was time to settle down my husband and I chose Round Rock because it balances a family-friendly community with so many great things to do. I’m the mom of two energetic boys who are always on the go. When I have free time (What is that??) I love crafting, writing, gardening, and yoga. I’m so excited to get to share all of the things that I love about my hometown with other moms and their families!
My name is Laura Standefer and I have 7 and 2 year-old sons. I’m an Austin native who has thoroughly enjoyed the increase in activities for families and children over the years. I spent my undergrad years pursuing a degree in mass communications and my graduate years pursuing a degree in family and child studies. I love live shows and sports matches, unique events, and, occasionally, going out and enjoying the nightlife. I love exploring Austin with my kids and discovering what’s new around town.
Hi! I’m Joecelyn, a former “indoorsy” child turned nature-loving mama to three wild boys. My days are filled with attempting to homeschool my children, making excuses to get out for a hike, and practicing yoga to stay sane. I adventure with my boys around the Austin-area with a group I formed called, Wild Explorers. Our community of nature-inspired families create a space where our children can explore nature freely and wildly.
