MONDAY, MARCH 7: Family Storytime
FREE, 6:30-7 p.m. at Round Rock Public Library
Storytime for families with toddlers and preschoolers. Activities include reading, singing, and creative movement.
FRIDAY, MARCH 11-SATURDAY, MARCH 12: Spring Community Campout
5:00PM Friday-Saturday Morning
Start your Spring Break with a fun family campout! Dinner, movie, lawn games, firepit, and s’mores are provided. Each family must pre-register and bring their own tent. Cost varies depending on residency and community center member status. For more information or to register, contact the Brushy Creek MUD.
SATURDAY, March 12: Family Storytime
FREE, 11-11:30 a.m. at Round Rock Public Library. Families are invited to participate in this fun and interactive storytime that includes books, songs, and fun additions like puppets and creative movement. This event is geared toward children ages 18 months to six years, but all ages are welcome. Pre-registration is required for all participants.
SUNDAY, MARCH 13: Yoga at the Ruby
10 a.m. at the Ruby Hotel, 400 Fannin Ave. Come for an outdoor wellness class led by instructors from Black Swan Yoga and stay for half-off mimosa carafes at brunch!
MONDAY, MARCH 14: Spring Break LEGO Fun Day at Round Rock Public Library
FREE! Ages 4+Children and their grownups can spend an hour creating, building, and exploring with various LEGO programs and activities. This event is free but pre-registration is required. Register in advance for one of four hour-long timeslots.
TUESDAY, MARCH 15: Bilingual Storytime at Round Rock Public Library
FREE! Preschoolers and their caregivers will enjoy a story time with stories, songs, and rhymes in Spanish and English. This activity is designed for children who are at least three years old. Pre-registration is required for all participants.
TUESDAY, MARCH 15: Teen Zen Zone at Round Rock Public Library
FREE! Teens can drop by the library any time between 4-6 p.m. for fun and calming activities. Stations include meeting a therapy dog, puzzles, coloring sheets, games, a special craft, and learning mindful breathing techniques. Pre-registration is required for all participants.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16: Outdoor Family Dance Party at Centennial Plaza
FREE! 11-11:30 a.m. at Centennial Plaza. Join in the Spring Break celebration with an outdoor family dance party!
FRIDAY, MARCH 18: Mr. Johnny and Friends Concert
FREE, 10:30-11:15 a.m. at Prete Plaza. Sing, dance, and play along with Mr. Johnny and Friends in this special outdoor performance!
FRIDAY, MARCH 25: Mother/Daughter Movie Under The Stars
8-10:00 p.m. at Brushy Creek Community Park 16318 Great Oaks Drive. Film TBA. Cost varies depending on residency. For more information or to register, contact the Brushy Creek MUD.
SATURDAY, MARCH 26: Round Rock Express Fan Fest
FREE, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Dell Diamond. Celebrate the start of the 2022 baseball season with a day of baseball fun! Planned activities include the chance to throw a few pitches in the Express home bullpen, batting practice in the team’s indoor batting cages, petting zoo, live music, charity car show, train rides, inflatables, and photos with the team mascot, Spike! B.I.G. Love Cancer Care Donation Drive: Fans are asked to bring donations of kids toothbrushes/toothpaste, travel-sized deodorant, body wash, conditioner and shampoo, and washcloths to benefit B.I.G. Love Cancer Care.
SATURDAY, MARCH 26: Round Rock PopUp Art Show
FREE, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Prete Plaza. Find unique and original artwork and support local artists! This show will feature at least twelve artists who work in a variety of mediums. Organized by Round Rock Arts + Culture.
